Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate moving skids to processing areas (as required)
- Responsible to enter all products, codes and ensuring proper scanning is followed in all areas for all steps for the product
- Managing fresh, frozen, and dry goods inventories (in MRP system)
- Coordinate restocking dry goods in the warehouse and providing to processing areas (if needed)
- Ensure that all incoming and out coming goods are properly coded in system
- Keep good housekeeping in the working environment
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Ensure a safe workplace by following the company safety policies and procedures including the accountability for reduction of and control of accident costs
- Operate different equipment (as required)
- Adhere to food safety programs, complies with all Safety Regulations; always maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Operate a powerjack (Walkie)
- Follow GMP’s policy
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication is a must
- Must be physically fit, there is constant standing and walking
- Certified or experience with a powerjack (walkie)
- Minimum 2 years shipping, materials handling experience.
- Manufacturing and/or food plant experience an asset.
- Mon-Fri day shift. Regular overtime as needed.
